There are three values that have helped me overcome huge hurdles: to be humble; I try being a good listener, to always see other people’s perspective as a way of understanding several points of view. Finally, to commit fully. When I commit to a project, I can assure I will do everything on my hands, and more, to succeed. Getting shit done!

Homie
My first successful business venture was Homie.mx, an end to end transactional long term rentals marketplace. Building such a company from scratch, from zero employees to over 250 people in less than 3 years was a really complex challenge. During my period as CEO, the company grew on average over 300% YoY based on healthy and strong unit economics.
My skill set is very dynamic. I have a strategical and analytical approach to business. I believe that in order to succeed today you have to be a data-driven decision maker, but also a good leader, able to attract and develop talent, hands-on attitude towards problems and a quick learner.
Other than my love for creating companies, I find a true passion for the wine world. I am a certified sommelier. The idea that from a bunch of grapes you can make something so important to culture, so complex and so satisfying to the senses just shows how fantastic life is. The patience of the winemaker must be like the one of an entrepreneur, it takes humbleness with nature, plus a long time and effort to see the final product. Waiting for the vine to grow, the grape to ripe, the wine to be pressed and stored in the right barrel in order to have a fantastic and beautifully complex wine; the same goes for great companies and leaders.
